If you got the chance to photograph a former historic high school that is in the midst of being transformed into something new, wouldn’t you take it? I did.

The original part of the building dates back to the 18th century and Chambersburg’s founding. Over the years the campus expanded to become the town’s only high school until a new one was constructed in the mid-20th century. The building sat vacant for 30+ years until McKissick Associates purchased the building and is now converting the building complex into a mixed-use live-work-learn campus. I was able to get a tour of the main part of the high school before the next phase of the project kicked off.

There is great value in capturing the evolving nature of the building as it goes through different development stages. Do you have a project that would benefit from having a series of photos throughout the development and construction process. Reach out!
